Strengthening the security of sensitive port facilities

The ISPS Code, for International Ship and Port Security Code, constitutes the international reference framework for port and maritime security.
It outlines measures designed to prevent malicious acts targeting ships and sensitive port facilities.

At the Port of Papeete, this system encompasses several strategic facilities and involves the implementation of security plans, access controls, surveillance systems, and specific procedures. It thus contributes to the protection of sensitive port infrastructure and the maintenance of a high level of vigilance in port operations.
