Special police regulations

About us Regulation Special police regulations

Adapting the general rule to the realities of port operations

Specific port regulations supplement the framework established by the Port Code by specifying the rules applicable to certain port areas, facilities, or activities. Their purpose is to adapt general regulations to the concrete constraints of operations, traffic, parking, access, and security.

The Port Authority of Papeete publishes, in particular, specific police regulations for its international trade terminal. These texts define, in operational terms, the obligations of users, the conditions of access, and the requirements necessary for the safety of people, property, and facilities, within a framework adapted to the specific characteristics of each zone concerned.
