The Port Authority of Papeete informs users of the promenade of the start of the ground resurfacing work, from the entrance of the Motu Uta bridge to the West breakwater on Monday 3 August 2026.

These works consist of replacing the existing surface in its entirety and, for safety reasons, require the promenade to be closed until October 14, 2026. โŒ›๏ธ.

A pedestrian route will be maintained for people going to businesses and administrations in Motu Uta.

Everyone is asked to be vigilant and to respect the signage in force when travelling in the area.
